Hi Kent, I still have that old standard brace in my garage. I'm trying to get FB3 over to Malbrad for some work so could stick it in the car for you to collect some time??

Hi Al,
Thanks! That would be awesome...I should look into making them for the 9-5 too, and probably will once I've bought one. I tried talking Debi into one but she's ended up with a Yeti L&K (I can't tell you how impressed I am with those
How come you're using Steve for FB3?

I talked my MIL into buying Yeti about 6 years ago, she swapped it last year for a Citigo as it was getting a bit too big and heavy for her (or she a bit too weak for it, she is well into her 80s after all!). If the boot was a little bigger and they made one quick enough I'd have had one myself - really good car and the L&K has all the bells & whistles.

I thought I'd ask Steve to mend it as he's a bit closer to me. Need to get this ruddy driveshaft sorted out, it's been 2 years now - the car's done nothing since Pembrey 2016.

What about 'The Phils' at Aeromotive?
They're in Birstall so possibly even closer for you Al?

Hi
I’ve just realised I can only pm with a few more posts , not sure how many before I can pm you? I live near Milton Keynes. If your willing to sell a brace I’m happy to buy if it’s resonable? I can send my old brace in exchange ?
Best regards
Darren

No, of course not :-)
I'll have a look in the garage and see what the ones I have there need doing to them...I think they're all TiG'd up, stamped, test fitted on mine etc. they just need blasting, powder coating, wrapping up and sending out.
...oh and me working out a price too, as I've said previously I've only got them on mine and guys I know personally before.

I understand ,thanks Kent.
Just a little info on my project. I have a 5 door viggen that I’m doing a nut and bolt restoration. It’s quite a big job and will probably take longer than I’d like but at the same time it must be done properly.
No rush just pm me regarding a price
Many thanks

Hi Darren,
OK, if you are wanting to do a concourse job on the Viggen these will be no good as you will be loosing points due to the part being modified ;-)
The good news though is that they fit and work on Viggens...both Geoff (Viggen Convertible) and Phil (Viggen tin top) have them on theirs. I have it on my SE and several of my mates have them on their Convertibles.
Are you wanting a 'standard' one like the ones earlier in this thread or wait for one of the 'Godzilla' ones?
Are you wanting it standard gloss black, 'raw' or the same colour as your Viggen?
I'll work out how to post images again and we'll talk details over PM if you're OK with that?
Kent

Can you all please stop putting pressure on kent to make strut braces for other Saab models other than the OG93 as Kent needs to stay focused on making/fabricating rear strut braces for the OG93 , I would like to thank you for your understanding regarding this
Phil

Sent photo's to your WhatsApp Darren.
You can see the difference between Standard and Godzilla in those.
Phil, I'd forgotten all about those  there's a better design than the one that Geoff has shown (the ones JTC had fabricated) I'll see if I can find pictures of them again...they're the ones NickT sells in the 'States and would be perfect for your Viggen.
Geoff, is Jeff still selling those single beam ones do you know?

OK found them HERE
To me these are a nicer design, have more rigidity due to the triangulation involved...ties three parts of the car together :-)
