The guy that made yours is a tool Jock ;)
Trouble is the same guy is making 'Godzilla' for Steve LMAO
Talking of whom...I WhatsApp'd him about some goodies he needs for his car. He needs to get a move on with them though as that sort of stuff will get picked up sharpish. He could do with buying the lot as a buy all deal?!
I'm also aware that we need to make a start on your downpipe...sorry  :wall:

Hi guys, I'm new to this so I hope I've posted this right, has any one tried using 10mm plate to strengthen their strut brace, cut in one peice to go around the plastic covers to the throttle and oil filler, notched at the bulk head for fixing access, I have a sketch with the idea lol just can't work out how to put it on here, your thoughts would be appreciated!

Oh my word...where did you find that Stu?
I've just finished welding three up last year...got three of the Godzilla ones in the workshop now that I keep promising myself I'll fab up then whip 'em all in for powder coating at once :)
Actually one of them is sat on a mates car at the moment as he couldn't wait to get it on the car. Said I could have it back when I take them in for powder coating. The cheeky git lol

Kent:

Could you upload photos of some of your final braces to a new photo service? I'd like to see your braces but Photobucket won't let us see them any longer unless you want to pay them at least $99/year for "third party hosting". There are lots of companies that will do it for free... and they have sites that run 100x faster than Photobucket as a bonus. I wouldn't expect you to rehost those dozens of photos but a few key ones would be great.

Thx if you can.

I'll see if I have some on my phone.
I have some finished in the garage ready for blast and powder coat.
Some components in my locker ready for me to jig and weld up too. I should really pull my finger out lol
Yeah, PhotoBucket have been complete knobs with their hosting

And I still have another donor stock 9-3 strut brace in my garage when you're able to pick it up in passing, Kent!

Very nice.

Geoff: Do you have any documentation as to what you did in T7 suite to change the shift up light to only light up at a high value? I've had this idea in my mind for a long time, maybe even relaying the light to a buzzer for an audible signal, but I'm a total noob in t7 suite. I was thinking that it would be a good first project for me to do my stock tune (B205R) and just tweak something relatively inconsequential like the shift up point. But, I'd need to know exactly what parameters you tweaked because, like I said, "total noob". Thx.

I've got some in the garage that need powder coating.
I normally only make them for my mates...where abouts do you live please?
You need to make a couple more posts before you can PM :)
