Sounds quite cheap to me. When was the last time you bought shock absorbers? :corn:

Try the mail order only arm of Eurocarparts:

www.carparts4less.co.uk

They have Sachs ones for £37.14

Or if you prefer Sachs like Mark E is suggesting, we can also offer these for £35.94 (inc VAT).

We can thoroughly recommend Bilstein for their quality and performance...

Take up Demos' offer. Go to Neo Brothers.

They may be a bit "forward" in their marketing (!), but they know what they're talking about when it comes to SAABs. :)

You won't get anything half-decent cheaper from anyone else.

Why is that "forward"? The OP asked where he could get parts, Demos answered him. Saved him searching and answered the specific question that was asked. Can't see a problem with that personally. :D

It's not as if they were trying to persuade him to have something he didn't want or hadn't asked about. Now that would be wrong.

Interesting that Neo's ebay prices are appreciably higher than offered here for the same item, another reflection on cost to sellers on ebay. (note to self, don't even consider buying from Neo's on ebay but post up a request for prices on here) :corn:

Hey John_D,

You'd better double check the link - you've linked that to ''NEW BILSTEIN B4 SAAB 9-3 03-11 REAR SHOCK ABSORBER'' . That price IS correct even compared to our website:

Bilstein B4 Rear 9-3 Sport 03-11

If you're looking for the rear B4's for the 9-3 98-02, see here:

Bilstein B4 Rear 9-3 98-02

AND you really need to be looking here for the Sachs versions, mate:

Sachs Rear 9-3 98-02

Obviously, if you ever find a product we stock that's cheaper elsewhere, we always endeavour to match and beat any quote  .

SAABNOOB, I didn't mean to imply any criticism of NeoBros' post on this website - actually, it's pretty cool that suppliers are enthusiasts and are on enthusiast websites like this one. I was just being a bit flippant and trying to be amusing - you know, as in:

"Fun Fun Fun ('til her daddy took the T-bird awayyyyyy"

(You may have also noticed that I was in fact recommending NeoBros as worthy and knowledgeable suppliers) :|

Perhaps the "forward" part was reffering to traders advertising in the coffee bar ;)

They were just responding to a request, nothing wrong with that as far as I can see.
