i would like to get a saab badge or logo for a little thought i have. it needs to be between 12 and 20 mm diameter. can be metal or plastic,no big deal either way. would be best if it was domed but not a deal breaker. is there a saab trim bit-steering wheel centre or horn push which could fit the bill please? i have been on e bay and looked at countless pics of saab interiors,am i missing something?
would prefer the original saab aeroplane logo really but the size of the badge is more important. does anyone have any suggestions as top where i should look please?

I've had custom badges made by these guys:

http://www.heko.co.uk/

Good quality, slightly flexible and plyable.

ok chaps,thanks for the replies. dan i have seen those but they are just on the small side for my job. chris that site is interesting but may prove a little too much for my job.
basically i only want to put a saab logo/badge into the end of a cigarette lighter to fit in my dash. i can buy the thing ready made for around fifteen quid delivered. if necessary i will man up and pay that but i thought it would be amusing to make my own which led to a search through my badges box and the garage in general the other day. i would kick myself if once i bought one it became obvious what i could have used. thanks again,john.

Well here's something I've done before;

Find a logo on t'internet (in your case one of Saab design...) and print it out on a colour inkjet on decent quality paper - photo quality or thereabouts, highest DPI you can get (the higher the resolution source image in the first place, the better...).

Cut out the image, then laminate it in a common or garden laminator. Then cut around the laminated image leaving a mm or so around the paper to 'seal' it in. Voila, a badge. Stick to the end of your lighter with Bostik. Of corse you have to make sure the final cut out, laminated 'badge' just snuggle fits into whatever aperture you require, so experiment a little with the initial printing of the image to get the size right. I usually do a sheet of A4 with a load of slightly different sized images printed out - you can choose the right size then. This saves paper, and if you print in draft rather than high quality, you save ink too! :-)

Don't forget to flick the switches out and use the Mrs's pastry brush to get in all the cracks and crannies.

Or a soft paint brush, Water Colour ones are good from the cheapo book shop.

He is probably thinking of ways of sticking badges on his window buttons or louvres on his mirrors :lol:
