I've been thinking about a change for while and I haven't had the easiest time over the last few month's.

Anyway I decided to treat myself and get a 9-3ss, I knew which one I want it was just a matter if finding it.

I found the right one 3 weeks ago and put the deposit down.

Today it arrived......

Haven't really tested it yet but I've pressed the loud pedal a few times, picks up quick a go's.

One of the greatest saloons I have ever driven - hands down better to drive than the M5 or M3.

Shame they went under, this model shows a much better build quality than pre-58 models. Just everything is so much tighter.
Definately my next car - hopefully my christmas present?!!

I've given it bit a test drive today.

1st impression WOW

It really shift's. So smooth and so much grip. Slammed it through my usual roundabouts, no drama at all. I was able to power through so much quicker than previous cars with more power. The XWD is a work of art. 1st gear, floored it, My head was saying its going light the tyres and go nowhere but the car had other ideas - Power down and bang I hit 50mph in seconds.

So far absolutely loving this car but I've got one small issue. Must be plugs are a coil pack. It's a bit jerky under full throttle like a misfire. Not to bothered tho, full saab warranty so it'll get sorted.

Yup, you got the coil/plugs issue for sure. Easy to fix....isn't that engine a gem?

It is. Hopefully it's just plugs but at worst coil's. Make use of the warranty. :lol:

A remap is temping but I'm to see how I get on with it standard for a while yet.
