Hi all,
As some of you may know I have put a TD04HL-15T and cobra pipe on my 9-3SE (Trionic 5), I also used a rubber bung to blank the hole for recirculating dump valve..., and it just started to melt :( Any other idea on how to blank it or what material bung use so it will not melt?

if you want to fit an atmospheric dv i would take the intake off , give the hole a good clean out with a solvent, then id use an automotive silicon to bung up the hole , its got a melting point of 230'c , id only do it that way cus I've got buckets of the stuff ;)

Why do you need to for a T7 Cobra to a T5 car? Or a T7 DI for that matter...

Exactly TD04+3"DP+bigger injectors is a Stage 4 upgrade for T5 engines :) So to get the TD04 installed you need either Cobra pipe or custom made delivery system.

Seen lots of 9000s with just a straight bit of inlet pipe so was surprised you need this. Couldn't you just use the original plumbing with a bit of hose onto the TD04 compressor? Or is that too restrictive?

I wish, T25 inlet pipe is installed by 2 bolts and the mouth of the turbo inlet is shaped to accomodate that, when TD04 is completely round and different size so it would not fit.
I sorted it out anyway by going dayofthejackal's way, so now I have got penis like blue hose sticking from out there, that is what I call a proper Saab porn ;)

OK gotcha...looking at THIS INFO I think I'd have been tempted to use a 90 degree elbow hose and take the angle grinder to the T5 inlet - looks a lot wider than the puny T7 cobra. Anyhow, you're done now
