Once again, UKSaabs will be having a Club Stand at 'Eurofest 2008'

Held at Castle Combe racing circuit on Sept 6th 2008.

This will be the 6th time UKSaabs will have had a Club Stand at 'Combe.
Every one has been a great success and everyone has had a terrific time whilst there.

This is a cheap way of taking your Saab out on track.
A six lap session on the West's premier racing circuit between 09.00-11.00hrs and 16.15-17.00 will cost you just £25 booked through here. £30 between 11.15-16.00.
There are 4 sessions per hour, on the hour, 15, 30 and 45 mins past too, .

Entry tickets are £10 but I have 10 free ones for the 10 first on the list as drivers taking their Saabs out on track.

As these Action days are so popular,Club stand places are limited to 30 of our cars.
Priority will be given to those taking their cars on track.
Spectators are more than welcome,
It will possible for you to have your cars on the Stand (Parked towards the back) in limited numbers due to the drivers needing easy and quick access to and from the track.

Last time we squeezed 22 Saabs on the Stand....This time we're going bigger!
This time...a little more order please. I keep on asking this but the stand always resembles an utter shambles. Only cars exhibiting a 'Gold display card' will be allowed on the stand, Health and safety rules these days...

Track times are a little vague at the moment.
The organisers want certain sessions for certain European country's cars.
I'm working closely with the organisers to try and get what we want.
An ALL Saab session is in the offing....but no guarantee....yet. We need 28 Saabs min for this to happen.
We're still OK for some of the 9-11am slots.

I would ask everyone who would like to come to be there by 08.30 at the latest please.
Drivers will need a compulsory track briefing before they go on track,and their car to be sound checked (98db).This all takes time, and hopefully, we'll have a few going out on the 9am slot.
Drivers will need helmets, and a current driving license.
Passengers will have to pay Castle Combe a £5 fee. Helmets are available to hire on the day for an extra charge.

Please put your name and Saab model on the list below if you are definately interested in joining Clubstand, and having a fantastic day out.

Fubes mate, the list is for DRIVERS not number of cars, so I guess Martin will be taking the 2nd slot you have booked?
Otherwise you've kind of messed up the first 10 for free entry tickets :lol:

Alan, and everyone.
Eurofest track times are 'themed' i.e German origin cars go out on the hour, French at 15 past, British on 30, 'others' (us...) on 45 mins past, or so the organisers say. This is always how it has been and it hasn't affected us going out with either a few Peugeots, Renaults, or Fiats before.

Seeing as though UKS have good relations with Castle Combe, and the huge majority of club stand attendees take their Saabs on the track, we never get a problem getting track time that suits us :mrgreen:

It would make things a little easier for me organising this if you were all to put down how many track sessions you'd like- next to your Saabs on the list.... (Gah, should have thought of that sooner...)
