Hi all, I recently had to change my passenger wing mirror actuator as one of the plastic tabs had broken so it wouldn't do left-right movement. I bought a cheap one off ebay but the replacement one fits quite loose, it can be moved a good few millimetres from side to side with the fingers, so at speed 60+ it vibrates quite bad. Has anyone also experienced this at all ? Is it because it's a cheap non genuine replacement ?
Thanks in advance Chris.

After doing a bit of investigating, the cheap aftermarket actuators do fit a bit loosely . I've fitted the broken original one that fits snug and fits perfectly ( fitted out the unit and off the car) the aftermarket one fits loose enough to make it move slightly with the fingers and vibrate while driving at speed. I'm not saying that all aftermarket wing mirror actuators are ill fitting but mine certainly was. Just thought I would post my findings.
