i bought a gold renault 19 off a 92 year old it wouldnt go over 53mph on the a12 on the way home
my mate was laughing his bottom off
it went on to be the most epic engine youve ever seen
i put 80k on it mostly on 3 wheels with the engine thinking its italian
it went on it 2 other renaults after the screen surround thought it was on a saab 9000

so if you test a car and its really slow be patient the speed wil come back maybe thsi one did
i beat bros 2.8 capri to 100 in a 1390cc e6j 79 bhp carbed renault energy engine

it cooked itself white hot once hose in the expansion bottle thought well shes dead it did another 40k after that
did look funny with a totally white crispy looking engine

White Honda Prelude 4WS, spotted earlier today, not seen one of those in a longtime.

I ran a 2.0 EX in white for a few months in 2002, lovely car.

A friend of mine had one as her first car after passing. She was proper livid when someone went into the back of her. She accepted their insurance offer for the car as a CAT D, and went mental when she saw it on the road a month later. She hadn't known that D was repairable but not worth it, she thought it was scrap. She'd have kept it otherwise.

Someone on work had one, gearbox failed after 2 weeks. Took 6 months to get another.

Saw a scimitar GTE on my way into work this morning. In cream and rust.

Thought the bodies were fibreglass.

There was a cream and brown colour scheme, I guess that was what he saw.

M80 northbound this morning saw a maroon BMW 2002 leaving at Haggs. Didn't catch up enough to see exact model, but fairly wide shiny wheels and particularly noticeable is the massive glass area with thin pillars. Appeared to be in very good condition so all credit to the owner.

I brought a Fuego 2.0 GTX when i was 19 and it had 27,000 miles on it. That was brought off an elderly lady and it had been locked in a garage for some years.
That engine was tighter than... well it was tight. And Slow......
I tried running it in by driving in 2nd and 3rd with no engine load, and it never loosened up.
My mates had 1.6 escorts and orions and they left me for dead.

1989 Nissan Bluebird 2.0SLX Hatchback... on the Ascot Road A332 this morning...

What a smart looking car that was, I remember my Dad looking at them in the 80's as a cheaper alternative to the 900s.

Not long after I was following an Almera S (53-reg), with the most adorable dog in the boot (terrier type thing with droopy years and tan coat, but a but bigger)...

Just passed an immaculate 1978 Citroen 2CV in yellow and black, looks really bright in the sun.

I always thought that this was one of the best aesthetic features of the design.

Then I watch the Top Gear BMW drop-test again...
