Fairly sure it's good, the issue will be removing it as they are bonded in.

Good point, I forgot that, I guess I need to get a new one then (or at least one that has been successfully removed) - thanks

I have 2 full sets of seats , both have holes/wear to the drivers bolster. Not willing to split them up though, sorry. Drop me a message if you are still interested.

I am having no success sourcing a flywheel for my 1994 9000 2.0 manual. Any joy with you

All my bits are 2.3 which will be a 240mm flywheel. I think you can probably use that though - the bolt holes will be the same, it'll just have a bit extra friction area that isn't used.

I just registered as I'm on the lookout for a gearbox for my dads 9000.

It's a '97 Aero so the 3.61 one should be correct, I think, FM57 101 ?

Sorry, no - you'll need an early one as all the later ones have airbags.

I have quite a lot of headlamp cases and lenses but no reflectors , they are all, almost without exception no good now and need recoating. I think I've only found 1 or 2 in the last few years that have been useable from many pairs. Bill at Saabits is the man to see, recoated ones are excellent - much better than any used ones you might find (that haven't been refurbed)

Thanks Nelliem, I am finding that myself :( , big outlay though and lots of scope for fouling it up by the looks of it ... i'd better get mine out and have a look at dismantling them then.

Cheers
Mike

Looking for the small piece of wiring loom that connects to the brake/clutch pedals. To the best of my knowledge it's not connected to the loom if there is cruise control fitted but it is there, unused, above the brake pedal.

Looks a bit like this. One set of wires (the clutch I think) is longer than the other.

I could do with a driver's seat if in VGC condition, or the passenger seat if it presumably has less wear and fits as driver seat.

No drivers setas, sorry. I have some Aero interiors but drivers seat requires repair. Passenger seat won't mount on the other side due to switches and seatbelt buckle etc.
