That's a NAMCO-Citroen Pony, produced 1972-1983. Around 17,000 were built in Greece, based on a 2CV chassis.

i had a 2 door tina massive doors compared to a more door
was a 1.6 auto 29k was given it free on the promise i didnt stick a big engine in it and kept it standard
i only had a tiny little boat so didnt put a massive engine in it
we got another 2 door and put the big engine in that one
big engine 1300cc brakes not a good combo funny but not to good
sweet little 1.6 engine purred unlike any other ford engine not fast but very smooth you could hardly hear the engine very un ford like

was given it from bicanacre in essex and it now lives 2 roads from me owned by a mate when i went to see him eh me old tina
it now is flat black and has flames down the side and a 3.0 engine i think

me nans old tina 2.3 v6 manual lives near ipswich look what colour it is now :argh:
it was sky blue metallic looked way better
me nan used to drift it and do doughnuts every now and then in asda carpark :D :D she was about 75 then i reckon

Looked tidy, but worn and original.

Countach. Apparently. The scrap yard guys don't know much about it. They collected it from a garage or storage compound in London, and there was mention of a connection with a Chelsea footballist. They also think it has a GM engine although that might be a red herring.

Certainly a Pony, so top marks there, but this one is more likely to have been a Dyane 6 chassis. It seems quite a rarity as most of them seem to be canvas-top pickups. Elsewhere around the Med, you'd have been more likely to encounter the Mehari.
