I was chatting to Karl yesterday about this and he thought that there were some folks about who had fitted an LSD to the auto 9-5 - is anybody aware of what unit this would be as Abbotts state their LSD is not suitable for auto models.

Cheers :-)

There is not an LSD option for the autos... Giles will tell you this if you give Abbots a call

Not sure if you are just confirming that Abbots doesn't work with the auto or if there is no LSD whatsoever that will work with an auto?

The differential is very different in the auto.

Pretty sure no-one makes one for it.

There's not one that was produced for the autos

Just bumping this one back up in case there has been any mad developments recently and some unrelated parts have been found to fit.

I'd still be interested if anything could be made to fit.

I will if the box goes pop but not planning on it before as I really need my main car to be auto.

Seems it's made by Aisin (also known as Aisin Warner) gearbox model AF33, was in the 9-5 from 2002-09 and is found in a range of GM models, and also Lancia Thesis (?), Nissan, Renault, Suzuki and Volvo models too. Apparently AF33 is GM's designation, Aisin Warner call it AW55-50SN. 'Fraid I don't know if you can fit an LSD to it though, no evidence out there that I can find ...
