Hi, new here and just wondering if there are replacements available at sensible prices or do we just ditch the dimming facility on the door mirrors?
Found plenty of heated copies, a pair with blind spot coverage for £14 delivered on fleabay.
What's the norm?

Lots of pounds for new glass. Last time I looked twas around £170. Admittedly, this was years ago. Maybe aftermarket bits might be available these days....

Ditched AD glass for bits that I already have here.

Just had a quick troll of internet and they are certainly few and far between, and those that are available are not cheap. Found these...

£76.80 being sold by Neos
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Auto-Dimming-Mirror-Glass-Left-for-Saab-9-3-03-09-9-5-03-09-12833399-/222668154234

£135 being sold by Suffolk Saab
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SAAB-93-9-3-9440-03-09MY-LEFT-DOOR-EXTERIOR-MIRROR-GLASS-AUTO-DIMMING-12833399/232803410701?hash=item36342a230d:g:sF0AAOSweltbH8l3

Hope I never need to replace one of mine at these prices!

The norm is to replace with non dimming due to cost and the fact any dimming replacements will soon go brown in our wet climate.
