Hi, does anybody have a detachable towbar for sale to fit my 2001 9-5 aero estate? Any help would be great.

Thanks Adam.

If you buy one secondhand, you must make sure that you get the two reinforcing end brackets that bolt to the ends of the bumper and the long bolt that goes through a new hole drilled in the body. Otherwise all the holes are there.

Here's a schematic of what you need.

Thanks for your reply.

I already have a towbar fitted to the car but it is a fixed one.........my shins know all about it!!! I'm assuming that I can use the reinforcing brackets from the fixed bar with a detatchable bar?

Thanks Adam

I have the Bosal as pictured it was fitted to my 2002 9-5 Aero saloon, no bumper cut needed.
It also has the dedicated Saab electric loom with it.
I believe it fits the estate as well but you would need to double check for peace of mind.

is the same for the saloon and estate. End brackets are different for saloon and estate.
They will be OK to stay, if you just change the middle.
