I have a 2007 Saab 9-5 Vector Estate 2.3t in dark blue I am using as an engine donor for my Aero. Body is bashed and scratched but ran perfectly.
It has only done 50k but will need too much work for the MOT.
Most parts are available as i would rather make them available here than give them to the scrap yard.
I have listed some of the major parts below and will be updating as time goes by but do ask of make me an offer.
Smaller things are available free for just the P&P.
I am in South Hampshire SO32

Engine - Not available
Seats part leather manual operation In very good condition - £160 (collection only)
Auto gearbox ran totally smooth when i drove it back to my place £90 (collection only)
Turbo - 2.3t eco £150
Radiator - £30
Intercooler - £30
Fans - £50
Xenon head lights £90 each
tbc..

Can post pics if required

A/C compressor - reserved for masonmjs

Sadly i am having to reuse the sump of my Aero on the new engine as the sump plug on the new one had been done up too tight and knackered it.
The timing chain cover is yours though if you want it, no cost.

greetings!

Can you give me a posted price for the stereo loom please?

Assuming that the car ISN't a satnav one?

Cheers!

I will add, just all of the front plugs earth tags and as much dash wiring as you can get. I don't need the whole stereo loom!!

I want to upgrade Stella to 2DIN DAB one day. If i can get the car side sockets, I'm sure that I can make what I have already got suit!

Cheers!

Free to you if you can wait a little while. I am concentrating on the engine swap at the moment but after that i can have a go at the other stuff on the car.

I would be interested in the APC valve electrical plug and as much of the wiring loom as possible so I can upgrade my 9000 to a T7 APC conversion.
I would also be interested in the drivers door threshold (the plastic bar with Vector in it, if it is not too scratched).
I might be tempted to your front bumper. I know you mention the body is not great. I would be repainting it, but can't have any cracks or major damage to it.
Thanks.

What sort of condition is the auto gearbox mount in, any slop or play? Might also want the ignition switch, if that's available.

What sort of condition is the auto gearbox mount in, any slop or play? Not sure how to answer that as how do i test it? The auto box on mine has three mounts, rear front and top. Which one?

ignition switch is available in the future when i have finished the engine swap. Not sure ho easy it is to get out.

Ah, the front mount - this one at saabits https://www.saabits.com/saab-original/s ... e-mounting. Mine lets the gearbox move around with the car on a ramp, it shouldn't be doing this!
Can wait for the switch, it's not a bad job at all - whip the ignition barrel out, and it's under there :)

Ah, that mount on the donor car is known as F*@$%d. the rubber is half broken away. The one on my Aero is in one piece and i have been in deliberation over whether to by a new one as i have it off as they are £33 at PFS http://www.partsforsaabs.com/product_info.php?products_id=3906

The switch is yours when i get around to it.

It is grey yes and has had a mats on top of it for its life by the look of it.

It is a bit hard to get at at the moment as my car is on stands too close to it to open the doors. Is should have the engine back in mine in a couple of weeks so will do it then if you do not mind a little wait.
cheers
John.

Hi there,

Do you still have the dashboard Ashtray & holder

If you have & if you can extract it without damage (!) I could do with one.
Mines not worked since we got the DE.
Better still if yours just has the storage 'cubby' instead of the ashtray insert
Thanks.

Take care & stay safe: effsweet
