From a MY1966 stroker, the year that the triple-carb was introduced. Would prefer a complete engine, with all its ancillaries, that's "good to go" but might consider one that requires rebuild (at the appropriate price). At a pinch, I would consider a complete car that's being scrapped or otherwise needs just too much restoration. What have you got? Happy to chat!

There's a guy Jordan Jones in a few of the Saab groups on Facebook who has a triple carb engine in need of some tlc if that's of any use.

Thanks. I don't "do" Faceache so, hopefully, he'll spot my post on here.

Thanks, I've left a voicemail asking them to contact me.

Update (Friday) - had a call from Jordan at the garage. He and his Dad are pretty fanatical about Saabs and strokers/V4s as well as later rally cars. We had a long chat, they have a few stroker engines but not one that I'm looking for; I suspect that I'm on a "hen's teeth hunt" (similar to rocking horse poo!) :( . I'll certainly drop in to see them when I'm passing on my way to/from Worthing (S-i-L).
Of course, there's a very modern alternative to a 2-stroke engine - electrification. I've been watching Vintage Voltage on Quest - very interesting stuff that's got me thinking about the future-proofing of Erik & other cars of his ilk. Perhaps an opportunity to start another thread .......
