In removing the water pump cover I've damaged the casting so in need of a replacement - Part Number is 834623-2

I'd also like to buy or loan a tool to remove the impeller and shaft.

Anyone able to help out ?

I've found a few pump covers, so far two 99 and one 900. I also have a spare water pump tool.

Dave

Excellent news, so yes the two on the right are the correct ones.

As for the tool, my pump has a bolt in the top of the shaft holding the impeller on, so I got a piece of M8 left hand threaded bar and made my own puller - the easiest part of the job as the pump came out with out protesting too much.

The brass bearing housing also needed to be pulled out and for that I had a collection of threaded hooks which pulled it out easily.

Bearing was definitely on its way out and the water seal wouldn't have lasted much longer so all in all a necessary job. I'm sure this is the 1st time the pump has been out in 46 years and will no doubt last the rest of my life time once it goes back in.

I'll get the local engineering firm to reface the seal surface on the impeller on Monday.

I'll send you a PM regarding collecting the pump cover.
