One of our foreign customers has his 9000 off the road due to a broken intermediate driveshaft, the one that runs in the tube at the rear of the engine, connecting the differential to the right-hand driveshaft. His car is a 1993 B234L automatic so he needs either one from a 1993 B234L auto or from ANY 1994-on 9000 auto.

Any offers to help him out? We're sending him some other stuff so we'd just put this into the box and charge him what it cost us.

Hi Bill, we have a 9000 aero auto/engine still intact, I will check the model year.

If it's from an Aero auto then it will be the correct part. How much, posted to Devon?
Annoyingly I chucked one away a couple of years ago thinking I would never find a use for it.

Thanks - I don't need what's left of the car
Just the shaft. I thought the engine/gearbox were already out of the car but it looks like a bit of work to get it out (you'd need to pop out the RH driveshaft to get it). If it's a bit too much work to do sometime next week then I'll keep an eye out for something else. Ideally looking to send it off to Buenos Aires next week along with his new pair of headlamps.

I shall pursue at all haste and update ASAP.

If the Inspector isn't able to help then I may have one although I might need any external identifying features or at least a way to tell a manual one from an auto as I have quite a few and didn't realise there was a difference when I stored them.

Thanks, Nellie.

If there's a part number on it, it should be 8727968.
