Work on the 96 is still progressing (although it is not readily visible). Some of the visible work is the black work on the front splitter has been painted.

As to the wrapping see below some more ideas that were posted on Facebook. A special thanks to all our supporters for their efforts. A decision will be made soon incorporating some of the ideas.

The car is amazing, the photoshopping is amazing (personal fave so far = the big Griffin [above] BUT incorporating the pictures of the different car parts on the version directly below it = 8) )

What a truly epic build thread! This thing will already go down in history as legendary...and it is yet to even turn a wheel under its own power! :park:

Neo's you've got to go with the Griffin design it's the best so far.

I think a combination of the griffin over the top of the new version of the X ray. If your using wrap, may as well make it a design that can't be done with stickers over paint.

If it weren't for the Neo Bros/Maptun affiliation, the Speedparts griffin logo could look wicked on this car!

Dashboard has now been wrapped with carbon fibre vinyl on the front surface. The top surface has been covered with a felt to stop glare.

Image

Instruments and switches have been installed on to the dashboard.

Image

And finally, the dashboard has been mounted back onto the vehicle and power turned on!

Looks very nice, can't wait to see a movie when it's finished. Might even drop by sometimes when I'm in the UK again just a minor detour from the Motorway when heading up North the M1

looks great and nearly finished .....

Saw the Beast again yesterday!! A :cen: MAZING!!!

Looked through the whole thread to fully appreciate the work (or some of the work involved as I suspected a lot more was done) that this car has entailed. Hats off to your dedication

The new office looks great as well.

Neo's, were you ever tempted to add an original retro square '96' badge to the dash? I can see why you wouldn't...but also why you would! :)

agree with this comment
i thought the big griffen was ideal for the car from looks side of things
but then thought the whole idea of sponsered cars is to promote sales for the business, hence the very clear message that neo bros sell bits for saabs in the picture below that

Seconded Ade - a truly incredible sight indeed! - having seen this in the flesh from the start of its creation to where it is now is such a privilege!

Won't be long now!

Yamas!

No it was done in house by Andy but, maybe we should bear him in mind the next time!!

The wrapping design is in its final stages and we hope to be sending the car off soon.

Our staff are getting excited because it will not be long before the 96 takes its first breath!!

I've been reading this from page 1...... and I looked at the photos of it when it had single headlamps.... and thought it looked a bit, well, shocked!

Kinda shocked youd expect to see on someones face when you've invaded their back passage

Just a quick update on the 96. Unsurprisingly the standard delivery pipe would not fit and therefore we had to make one up. The photograph below shows the top pipe (standard) and the bottom pipe (bespoke).

Image

Bespoke pipe in place

Image

Tinted rear glass in situ.

Image

Front window is still "work in progress"
