Baggsie first chance when you want to sell to fund your queue of waiting restorations.

Looking absolutely stunning. What power are you aiming for?

Finally got a new pair of headlight washer covers at a sensible price..
Primed, I had just enough paint left in the tin to paint them..
Fitted them yesterday.. also fitted the badge..

I have been having some issues with it running, idling, trying to drive out the drive etc and it struggles sometimes..
checked and changed a few items, fpr, ecu, injectors, icv, etc..
Got a fuel pressure gauge fitted and was only 1bar at the rail..
Last night I dropped the tank to check things, found a wee kink or crease in plastic fuel feed pipe so fitted rubber hose and still the same..
Bypassed the intake pump and setup an external one.. straight up to over 2 bar and 3 bar when revs up..
So I'll need to whip the basket out and see whats up inside..

Think that's the running issue sorted now..
Had to make a hybrid pump basket with saab and ford parts..
Bypass the ford fuel pressure and driver module and all seems to work ok now..
Road test will confirm..

Saw it on the metal on Saturday, love it!! Never saw Mike though, he must have heard me coming.

I hope that is it all sorted now, this needs to be on the road rather than just looking mean.

Sprung a coolant leak after some testing.. (powerlcool 180)
Fitted a new dump valve, oil breather tank..
Not going to be easy getting to leaking hose as they are at the back and on bulkhead, hopefully won't have to tilt or remove the engine..

I begining to wonder myself...

Any hoo.............. many swear words and sore arms, wrist and chest I have managed to get it sorted without removing or tilting the engine..

Had to remove the 2 scuttle panels, 9-5 mount, strut brace which also dropped the shocks, throttle body intake, pipes etc etc..

Must have forgot to put jubilee clips on the ford to saab pipes I made, the ford items are the original fittings onto the matrix pipes, they are a :cen: to get to and remove, refit with a B234 in the way... trust me !!!
I'm just glad it happened here and not away out on the road or on the dyno..

After running back up to temp it seems I only lost 1ltr of powercool which could have been a lot worse I guess...

Now I can look forward to the RAC 2019 in a few weeks..
