A slight modification as I was not entirely happy with the way the back axle sat with the panhard rod pushing the axle off centre after lowering the suspension, so I decided to make an adjustable one, cheers George and Lee for your help.

Amazing work. I have a 900 T16 FPT coupe in black that runs like a dream. I would like to tackle the rust sooner than later. I wish I would have just 25% of the skill set that you have. I am completely clueless in regards of body work and just very basics of mechanical skills.

I am afraid the only certain route is to pay someone to do it for me. I would like to learn but I am going to ruin the car in the process lol.

Hats off! I envy you guys!

Thank you for your kind words and taking the time to look through my build thread. it's just a matter of taking your time and doing it bit by bit, I never cut too much out at one time as you would be left with no reference points, I'm a joiner but I found working with metal more satisfying than wood as if you make a mistake with wood you cant weld a bit on and grind the joint :D

Goodness me Ian, what a restoration...... Quite breathtaking.
I've just purchased a similar coloured, but 3 door Turbo Aero, seemingly stored in a garage for 12 years but obviously sans mot.
I sincerely hope isn't as bad as yours was initially, but in all honesty i"m wondering where to start.

I think I'm going to have to find a specialist or "ask a friend" as they say on television.
There are quite a few inspiring restorations herein it seems but yours, undertaken as it was, is a brilliant result.

Depending on the amount of work needed it might be worth thinking about buying a few tools and a welder and having a go yourself. It will take a lot longer but paying for bodywork isn't cheap and can soon make a project uneconomical.
