Did I mention in a previous post that I had an 'Autoplas' louvre in my collection? Well, it was in very good condition just looking quite scuffed and faded due to it probably being close to 30 years old. Anyway, I found some time recently and re-furbished it, I painted it in the same black as I had used on the roof and bodykit on the car, then a few days later fitted it to the rear screen. Unfortunately I did not have a fitting kit for it so I decided to bond it o the screen with Sikaflex. That will hold it there permanently if required but it can be removed fairly easily with a razorblade on the glass if needed too. Anyway, I'm very happy with how it looks. What do you think?

Sorry but it's not my cup of tea if I'm being honest, I like the look of the rear window on the 900 and this effectively hides it so to me this is not an improvement.

The rest of the car is superb, I think this spoils the look overall but then I'm just an old fashioned (because I am old) grumpy old sod so my opinion doesn't count for a whole lot really.

Yeah, they are a bit of a Marmite thing really, love or hate. I'm not 100% on it, but will be giving it a bit of time to see if it grows on me, but that will be after the car is next back on the road, whenever that will be!

I have a hunch you will be taking it back off before too long, it can't do much for the rear view to begin with .... and with the huge spoiler it makes it look too black and congested at the back in my humble opinion. Just my thoughts as I said previously.

Hi Angus,

I had hoped to see the latest incarnation in June as we were scheduled to visit Portree again.

Doesn't look like this will happen now unfortunately

Cheers

Jim

Hi Jim, that's a shame, but better to stay safe. Hopefully you might get the chance to visit later in the year though?

Maybe Angus would let us take it for a blast around the Island

I won't mention your connection with Rallying . . . .oops, too late.

I will be in capable hands if we break it
