I begining to wonder myself...

Any hoo.............. many swear words and sore arms, wrist and chest I have managed to get it sorted without removing or tilting the engine..

Had to remove the 2 scuttle panels, 9-5 mount, strut brace which also dropped the shocks, throttle body intake, pipes etc etc..

Must have forgot to put jubilee clips on the ford to saab pipes I made, the ford items are the original fittings onto the matrix pipes, they are a :cen: to get to and remove, refit with a B234 in the way... trust me !!!
I'm just glad it happened here and not away out on the road or on the dyno..

After running back up to temp it seems I only lost 1ltr of powercool which could have been a lot worse I guess...

Now I can look forward to the RAC 2019 in a few weeks..

Easy to say with hindsight, but maybe it might have been better to get it all set up and proven with plain water or a standard water/glycol mix, then switching to the funky Evans stuff, Mike?

I didn't want to put water in the dry engine Al, you never get rid of it all when you drain it, although this still works ok with a smidge of water..
Also didn't think I would forget a simple thing like fitting jubilee clips..
I better order up another tub eh, just in case

Hi,
Very impressed by your build, fair play, looks very good
Am looking to swap the front end from a facelift focus to my pre facelift model. I seen you had to do a bit of welding on the wings for fitment? Is it as easy as just an unbolt and bolt on job or is there more to it.

It's easy enough job, you'll notice once you place the wing in situ..
There's probably a link on google somewhere..
