Well it's been so long since I updated this I figured I should bring you guys up to speed !

I still have the 99 and to be fair...not much is new. I mainly just keep on tweaking it here and there, tidying bits as I go.
Ive covered close on 10k miles in it now and still love it !

For those guys that haven't driven a 99, especially a turbocharged one.. they really are great fun. Yes at slow speeds and parking the steering isn't good, but once your up to speed on a good A road and some good twistys... there is so much feel and feed back that modern cars are so missing.

My day job is working on cars, a certain German brand to be precise and as a result I do get to drive some very nice and very quick cars .... and yet they have something lacking. I do think for driver enjoyment you cant beat a car that isn't dripping in electronic aids and driver assist systems.. but hey that's just me !

Time for a few pictures as photo bucket seems to have deleted a few of them.

This one was taken at SaabFest this year and is parked next to 'Turbo Killer !'

This one was at Grassmere back in June this year, mine next to Birdiemango's Clarion 99t.

I read this from the beginning again last night ( late to bed this morning !).

Inspirational 8)

I also have a 2 Door 99GL ( 1984 ) which is still on a single carb . . . . . . . .love it :P

If ever I require major engine work I will now seriously consider going down the Turbo Route.

From my experience with my LPT C900 Vert, I would like to try a LPT set up in my 99.

Great work Darryl, well done.
