Just went back in to add a comment to my latest post and found that my last two posts (today) have disappeared, nothing contentious in there and no email from the mods, its like it has been re-stored from a back-up earlier today. My last post was around 3-4pm today.

Millenium + 20 bug ??????

Sorry Mal but I am completely failing to understand what my post has to do with this particular forum section, it was a question about a missing post, one which I had been adding to during the day. I don't see any of the words used in the title of this forum that are relevant (unless this happens a lot of course, in which case FAQ's would be the nearest thing). When I came back to the coffee bar and found this post missing I was actually starting to think my posts were being removed for some reason as I did not receive any kind of notification about it.

Is that not a question regarding Forum Admin?

If you look at the subtitle of this section.

Surely if you thought your posts had been removed you'd want to ask the Mods/Admin rather than post for opinions in the Coffee Bar?

As I have already stated above, there have been no post removals or movements other than this recorded within the Moderator log or Admin Log. So we cannot be blamed this time, operator error possibly?

What thread were you trying to post on?

Re the movement of this thread from the Coffee Bar. If you received a notification of a response to this thread you would have seen my post regarding its move to the correct section

Did you inadvertently click on ''Save as a Draft'' rather than ''Submit''? as they are next to each other at the bottom of the page, a few people have been caught out by doing that in the past.

No I don't think so Mal, the first sentence is actually saying I don't think it was removed, for the reasons given (e.g. nothing contentious and no notification), so no way is it a question about Forum Admin.

Millenium bug + 20 was an attempt at humour :?

Operator error, yeah that's a good one Mal, I wasn't trying to post on anything, I posted on the Your Cars thread about my 9000 re-commission, like I have been doing for several weeks now. Like I said, I posted it earlier today (after the last one now visible) and then went back to it with an edit or two, so it was there before, then it wasn't. I honestly think a restore from back-up is the culprit, I don't know what your admin logs record but I would have said you need to check operating system logs for a system glitch.

I'm not going to comment further on the location of this post, I trust my judgement when it comes to where and how to post things so I was a little surprised when it was moved.

We'll have to agree to differ on that one.

For some posting anything and everything in the Coffee Bar seems to be a default setting.

Is that not an Admin issue?

I'll see if one of the other Admins can spot anything I have missed, but there is nothing showing in either log.

If you look at some of the threads in this section you will see many are in the same vein as what you posted.

What happened to my posts etc...

Who were you looking at to respond to your thread?
