SAAB 9000 Aero 1997 - manual - Midnight Blue - Mot July 2017 - 139500 miles
Selling somewhat reluctantly our SAAB 9000 manual Aero. Offered here prior to listing on eBay - hope to sell to someone who'll look after her.
We've had her for seven years, and there were four owners previously. Polyurethane bushes have been fitted to front wishbones. both front and rear anti roll bars, and top gearbox mount.
Stage 2 map giving approx 270bhp.
I believe it has EBC yellowstuff pads fitted to the front brakes.
Lots of paperwork and bills, and the owners handbook etc.which is housed in a SAAB folder.
WAS £1,100.00 - now £950 - I really need the space!
The car is located between Amersham and High Wycombe. Happy to collect viewers from either train statiion.
Please PM me for any questions.
Runs well, all gears fine, turbo does what it is meant to do. Very fast and comfortable motorway cruiser.
Doesn't seem to use any oil.
Full Aero spec with excellent sand leather interior. Electric heated seats. Memory drivers seat.
Original windscreen, and no discernable rust on surround. Have had an autoglass chip repair to avoid replacing screen.
All dash warning lights come on and go out when they are meant to.
Climate control fully working. As is everything else unless noted below.
Two keys and two working remotes, and original key template.
Excellent Alpine MP3/CD player fitted.
Cup holder (double) and coin tray combo fitted to dash. Also cup holder (double) insert to storage box between front seats, and two in the rear armrest.
Damage on both sides around rear arches, due to scraping gateposts. Not whilst I was driving.
Front spoiler cracked and repaired by tape.
The windscreen washer reservoir has a leak about halfway up. This reduces its capacity but doesn't stop the washers working.
Interior hatch release doesn't always release hatch, but button on remote does.
Half the red button on the passenger side seat belt fastener missing. Does not affect use.
Sundry minor marks on bodywork.Could probably do with a T-Cut session and a really good wax.
(Bonnet badge has most enamel missing. Replacement badge is on order, and should be here in a few days.) New badge now arrived and will fit if it stops raining!
Some wear to drivers seat, mainly bolster, but nowhere near as bad as most.
These are rare cars now, and this is a good honest genuine car that has not been abused.
