This isn't really one I want to sell as it is such a cool car but I need to admit 7 99s is too much!
1970 beige 2dr 99, chrome bumpers and low indicators. shell is very solid only requiring minor repairs to a couple of areas. The car came to me with no engine but I believe it was last running a 2.0 injection 8v 900 engine. it still has the fuel pump and fuel pipes etc if this was the route you wanted to go.
I have dropped in a spare B engine I had sitting but there are no driveshafts and it isn't plumbed in, I can remove this if that suits the new owner.

What I had really hoped to do with this car is find a rotten 16v 900 and swap everything over into it, would be a relatively easy way to make a very cool but driveable Mot and Tax exempt car.

It is a project and there are bits missing but the shell is stunning for a 50 yr old 99.

MORNING IAN,JUST A LITTLE MORE HISTORY ON THE CAR.....
I TRAVELLED FROM LANCASHIRE TO NORFOLK,TO BUY THIS CAR AROUND 15-20 YEARS AGO.IT HAD APPEARED IN THE CLASSIFIEDS OF THE NEW(BACK THEN) RETRO CARS MAGAZINE,AND WAS INDEED FITTED WITH A B201 900i 8V INJECTION ENGINE AND 5 SPEED 'BOX.

THE SELLER BACK THEN,HAD DONE THE CONVERSION,USED IT FOR SEVERAL YEARS,DECIDED TO SELL IT....

IRONICALLY I NEEDED THE GEARBOX,FOR A 900 CARLSSON,SO WHNE I GOT BACK TO LANCASHIRE, THE LUMP GOT PULLED OUT....

EVEN ALL THOSE YEARS AGO,THE SHELL WAS IN EXTRAORDINARY SOLID CONDITION. BUT, I TOO  HAD MANY SAAB PROJECTS ON THE GO(AND STILL DO),SO I HAD TO MOVE IT ON.....
NICE TO SEE IT IS STILL AROUND,AND HOPEFULLY SOMEBODY WILL BREATHE NEW LIFE,INTO IT....

Thanks for the reply and the extra history on the car! I've literally just sold this car to a localish chap, I'll encourage him to join the forum and keep us updated with his progress, I expect he may be on here to find some parts for it and the story will continue :D
