Hi guys, I picked up a 2003 93 1.8t Vector Auto last night and it was standing for around 3-4 months without moving or even being turned over!! I was driving it today and noticed at low speeds - parking etc the steering felt a bit jumpy, like it was pulling out of my hands and felt like it was skipping a bit. It has 18" wheels on and new tyres up front.
I've checked the fluid and its ok, I can hear the pump groan a bit at full lock on both sides and when driving in a line or turning round normal corners, streets etc it seems fine. Any ideas what it could be??
