Here's one show in Scotland that is going ahead, without the public.
In aid of the RAF benevolent fund, so a £25 entry fee for the charity.
There will be a real Spitfire on the site, and if weather permits a fly past of various WWII aircraft including a Spitfire.

Weather could obviously be iffy in late September, but some years we have glorious weather in late September, so let's stay positive.

There's no website for the show specifically but Broomhall House's website, (Where the show is taking place), is here https://www.broomhallhouse.com/

I have a Flyer that I can send to anyone interested.
E mail me on andydeans3, then Gmail.

Andy

Ay ay Mr Stiggy. I'll bring our 99 if you bring your 96

I'll check with the management, but I'd definitely be up for this.

Sounds really good, could well be up for making a weekend of this if no other commitments - TBA
Let's hope it remains 'on' as the date gets closer !

Stig - I make that four weeks to finish and MOT the 96 ... plenty of time to call Doive's bluff !

Interested if we can build a night's camping into the weekend?

OK, good, looks like we're getting some numbers.

It's important to understand that the organisation of this is different to Glamis.
ie the entries don't all go through me.

Doive/Stig/Lugy/Derek etc, I've E mailed you all the flyer, if you read it you'll see that you have to contact Mark on the E mail address shown on the flyer.
Make sure you tell him your part of the Saab Group, (mention my name), and he'll put us all together on the same part of the field.

Andy

Mmmm.
Good offer.
I could trailer it down and pick it up finished 3 weeks later. Maybe 4 weeks if we go for a paint job. :?

Sounds interesting Andy, good spot there.

I will email you for the flyer. The only question will be which car will be ready for it. I have a couple coming on reasonably quickly at the moment. :)

I emailed Mark, been added to the provisional entry list but he said he's waiting to get the final approval to go ahead next week.
Fingers crossed!

I just received the list of entrants, and it looks like only myself and Lugy are going.

They have a maximum of 200 entrants, and that's now been reached. :(

Having looked through the list of entrants, I think I'm going to have to raise my game and start tarting up and polishing now .

Fingers crossed it's all goes ahead!

I ducked out after I found out from Mark that dogs weren't allowed in the grounds, would have made it difficult for us to make a weekend of it.
Sounds great, hope it goes ahead OK - photos are mandatory !

Sorry that I missed this one guys.
Whilst trying to fit it in with a trip to Edinburgh, I took my eye off the ball and missed the cut off.

Not unexpectedly, this show has now been cancelled.

I suspected this would be the case after last week's new regulations!
