The next Limes Cafe Meet (UKSLCM) of 2019 will take place on Sunday 1st September - 10:00 until 13:00.

Venue - The Limes Cafe, Old Rufford Road, Bilsthorpe, Newark, Nottinghamshire, NG22 8TH.

The Limes has a very large Car Park and there are no time limitations or fees for parking.

The breakfasts served are well recommended and reasonably priced, or if you want to eat later the lunchtime carvery is again recommended & reasonably priced.

The meets are a chance for a get together to talk and look at SAABs and anything else that takes your fancy.

According to our North Eastern correspondent it is the sixth anniversary of the first one. It would be rude not to come then :D . Can’t be rude so will have to come.

I'm setting off in about 30 minutes, so should be there for just before 10:00.

See you there :D

Set off for Limes at 8.30 this morning but lost the clutch after 2 miles. All forward gears went first, I had reverse for about a minute (to reverse into a sage place) before that went as well.

Plenty of fluid in the reservoir but notably nothing coming out of the master cylinder when I loosen the coupling.
Got one of my friends from work to tow me home but that was the end of the Limes meet for me today.

Hope you had a good day anyway and hope to be at the next one at Redhouse.

Cheers J

For those that did make it, many thanks for turning out.

18 SAABs present over the course of the meet which was more than I expected to be honest.

Yet again nice to see some new faces along with the usual suspects :D
