I've just heard that there is not going to be a Saturday evening meal, due to the fact that the Mill is fully booked by a Wedding.

Are any of the group who are over-nighting in the Yeovil area, planning to meet on Saturday evening to dine or have a drink or five??

if so let me know by E mail.
andydeans3, then gmail dot com

I will cancel the B&B I have near the Mill, and find somewhere to stay in Yeovil.

Andy

The website says that if anyone wants to eat at the Mill you can book direct...

I din't think it has anything to do with the wedding as that'll be in the main building not the bar/restaurant. It appears to be just lack of support for the event. So maybe we could have a meal there anyway just with fewer numbers.

Guys

Well something else has now come up, and I'm going to have to cancel the whole trip.
Very sorry about it, because it's a great weekend.

Next year!

Andy, totally understand. Family comes first. See you soon. Robin.

As Andy now won't be able to make it, is there any support for a meal/get together on the Saturday evening?

The bars will still be open for drinks and food if you are in the area.
Nothing to do with andy not being there.
Possibly the problem could stem from the regular ones who eat are not staying at The Mill this year. Lack of rooms.

Does anyone who is going to Swedish Day have a collection of V4 keys?
I have a couple of locks that I don't have keys for, so if you could take them along to try a few I would very much appreciate it,
Thank you

Is there anyone around on Saturday night who fancies a pub meal?

A word of warning for anyone heading down from the London area or north of Oxford...

The M4 westbound will be closed all weekend for bridge repairs at the A34 junction (junc 13). Traffic is being diverted down one slip road across the roundabout and back up the other slip road. There were long queues last weekend, Up to 2 hour delay.

Go a different way. M3/ A303 is favourite.

See you in Somerset! :)

Good luck guys.
I'm gutted at missing this, but things in your life, sometimes just conspire to get in your way.
Family has to come first.

Next year!

Hope to see some of you at SAABFest, and perhaps IntFest in NL.

Regards

Andy

Thanks Andy. Thinking of you. Loads of pictures as the days pass. Looks like the weather is on our side again.

Sorry that you won't be there, Andy, your lovely 96 is always worth seeing. My c900 is washed, polished and looking good for the short trip - just a few miles - to The Mill. See you all there ……...

Also agree with Melle,
Thank you to Robin and John for an excellent day, but I think
the Saab god ordered the sunshine.
Some truly magnificent cars on display today, the hours of
dedication is mind blowing.
Long live Swedish Day.

Great day. Met about 10% of the people I hoped to bump into. Weather was good. Easy drive down, but busy on the way back, so I came home across country and rarely saw another car!

It was a long day and old age is catching up. Went to bed early and have just woken up and had a quick breakfast.
