Another great event, thanks to Jim for the organising! 8)

The Northern convoy met up at Stracathro services as usual and then a further meet just south of the Tay. In the Tay car park, a c900 was spotted, and a Ruby no less. Left a UKS card on it, hopefully it will appear here sometime. Snapped a photo on the way out, but was photobombed by a passing seagull

The last photo shows parrish making good use of the UKS bug, and it did stay there for the entire meal!

Another great day. Was part of the big turnout due to the fact that it was your birthday Colin? Nice to see the 'kent' faces and lots of new ones. Being on UkSaabs is such a friendly place to be.
Great venue. Thanks to Mckenzie for suggesting Fernie Castle and Stig for all the organisation.

I have photos, which I will hopefully sort out later on and post up, but as usual Kev has covered all the bases

As has been said, many thanks to McKenzie for suggesting Fernie, and to Stigaroo for doing the spade work in putting it together - hardest part of any event is putting it together, as Jim Morrison once said 'If you book them, they will come'.

Great to meet friends old and new, any UKS Scottish meet is like an extended family, everyone just fits together regardless of class, colour, or vehicle of choice. We even had a Jaaaaag, a small Renault, a couple of BMs, and a dodgy looking Renault/Lotus hybrid thing with funny doors. Plus two large dogs, and eight roaming chickens. Very good fun, thank you all who made the effort to attend - especially those who travelled from very far afield to come all the way to Scotland...!

Thanks Mike. It was good to meet you and your wife. Would like to see some of your projects. Myself and Joe will see them when your wife gives a phone to come and pick up all the stuff she wants rid of. :D lol.

Like it Mike   ''the 3 stooges'', you thought I was bad until you met they two :D Really good to meet everyone again, at one point I thought I was at a wedding when Kev stood up and gave a speech. Have said this before, what a nice bunch of genuine people. The carpark was nice as well, I fancy getting one of those 4WD thingys called Saabs. And a big thank you to the organisers, the venue and meal were lovely. Shannon was disappointed not to make it, she was even more disappointed when I told her she could have been sitting in a DeLorean as Back to the Future is her favourite film, I told her if she was there Donna would have no objections for her to sit in it and take a photo, she was gutted :( . See yous all at the next one. Oh nearly forgot...

THANKS FOR THIS KEV, added to the collection.

So I believe Andy but I will have to visit the museum sometime to confirm.

We used to go to the Black Watch Christmas Party in Edinburgh when we were kids so there is some connection

Cheers

I would like to say a quick thank you to all that made Sunday happen. It was my Dad that put me onto the forum and suggested we go along and I am well chuffed he did. What a great bunch of people. We had a great time on Sunday! It was the first time for me going along to an event like this however not the last, we are both excited for the next one.

Nice one lads thanks again,

cheers Barry

My first meeting of the group, good to meet with like minded people an made to feel very welcome.
Interesting selection of cars and managed to trace a bit of the history of my 99T project.
Thanks for a very pleasant day.
