I'm having my worst Saab week so far, my car has been off the road for a few days waiting for some exhaust work to fix a silly problem of the whole thing separating from the turbo. The spare 9000 was dusted down and started first time and carried out its duties without issue until Sunday when it developed steering issues. Net result is I've lost 2.5 days work so far this week and I didn't have that time to lose in the run up to Christmas. If I can't catch up most of the time lost then I am going to have to work at the weekend, any other time of year I could spread the workload more and it wouldn't be a problem.
Hoping the phone stays quiet so I can get caught up a bit but will now have to change from definitely attending to doubtful. Really annoyed as I was looking forward to this as usual but more so due to the venue. If I can't make it and any cost has been incurred for deposit or similar I will of course stump up to Stig or whoever is out of pocket.

Barry.

Would not be the same without you Baz.

Can you not just kill 2 birds and sell an alarm security system to Fernie Castle on the Sunday?

Got on fine on the border raid, still gutted I didn't catch the high speed cornering followed by crash avoidance on camera  Got my car back, exhaust now part of the car again but I have a radiator leak, not bad but will need replaced. Fingers crossed I can get enough work done in the next 3 days to free up Sunday.

Barry.

As Kev said it'd be good if you could make it. Simple answer, stick a couple of eggs in your radiator and work like a dog for three days and you will be there, easy  no excuses now. If the thing breaks down I will personally tow you to your house, how's that then?

Ok so.
For those not in the know, we usually meet to convoy to the UKS Xmas meets.

To go over to Fife or similar ( in this case up the A92 to Ladybank way), troops gathering from Edinburgh and south have met up at Tesco South Queensferry, loaded some cameras, then travelled to destination in convoy.
Northern contingent sort themselves out.

I think this is still a good rally point, just bear in mind there has been a lot of road works in that area recently.
For any interested, I should be there from 10:30am, so if anyone wants to join and convoy the 40minutes or so to Fernie, you are most welcome to tag along.

Convoy members will head off from Tesco at c 11:15am.
If you are coming over from the west and want to join up, you are very welcome.

Woohoo, great day, got a few of the hard to get jobs done and a new out the blue job. Traffic coming back from Edinburgh was a nightmare but got home after 7pm. Looking fine for Sunday now so will put sun dome on charge! Radiator offer would be gratefully received, just let me know what you want for it. Also I was wondering if our great leader could bring his tech 2 kit along, I have an abs sensor down and it would be handy to know which one. Will probably swing round by Tesco's South Queensferry for the usual meet up.

Barry.

p.s. Don't know what John did but not put any water in for 2 days, before I had him look at it I was filling up daily.

Heh heh . . . . .Sun Dome now fully functioning :P

How about a northern Contingent Convoy ?

Suggested meeting points are ASDA Bridge of Dee Car Park, Stracathro, South side of Tay Bridge.

Any thoughts on timings, working back from arrival at Fernie Castle just before 12.00 noon. ?

Cheers

But amazingly never got into any geek speak! I am a Sales and Marketing Manager, I know some words, some of them are great words but only enough to confuse the clueless. As soon as you start talking composite layers I am stuffed!

Colin (Mantagonist) & I will try and be at South Queensferry for the convoy. :) Does that Tesco sell 99?

I will bring my TECH-II along if anyone needs it.

Not sure on convoy as it looks like I might be coming from Perth but will advise later
