Advert titles must follow the format: Item - Location (if not willing to post)- eg. "1999 9-3 SE Airbag, Glasgow"

All adverts are for those offering items or interested in collecting items to communicate. Posts (or content of posts) made by other users, and judged not to be directly relevant to the specific transaction being proposed, will be removed.

Car Model: Saab 9-5 SE 2.3t manual
I have owned my Silver Saab 9-5 for the last 16 years. It’s covered 170k miles and is still reliable but age is beginning to show here and there (on the car as well as on me).
“Xena” (named for the warrior princess) starts and runs well and has MOT until October 26th but the time has come for us to part ways.

I’m offering my car free to anyone who will cherish her and keep her going for a while longer.

She needs an oil change (a full service wouldn’t go amiss) and has an advisory for corrosion to the steel brake pipes that run to the rear. The alloys are shabby and slowly leak air but the tyres still have decent tread.
Everything works (even the aircon) but the SID is loosing pixels. I have two sets of keys.

Adopter must come and collect the car from Bishop’s Stortford. It is SORN so I cannot demonstrate on the road.

You may not be able to PM me as I am a new member but I will look out for updates to this post.

She is on offer elsewhere - first come first served.

If nothing else Xena can run someone around until the MOT runs out, but if you strip her or scrap her please don’t tell me - the family who love her would be in tears. It would be great to see her occasionally continuing to serve someone loyally...

Hi all, I’ve had a couple of queries on Xena - firstly she’s a saloon rather than a wagon/estate.
I have 2 in the queue to adopt - Neil has first refusal and then if she’s still available she’ll be offered to Ian.

Cheers... Martin
