Hello everyone

New to the forum so apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere but after all my search (may have been superficial) I could not find an answer.
I have a 2008 9-3 with the factory head unit, 7 speaker and amp in the boot set up, so all standard. Unfortunately do not posses the funds to carry out a major overhaul of the audio system so just looking for some minor improvements.

I am sure I can be disagreed with but my initial investment went towards an active subwoofer (Pioneer TS-WX130EA) which I now need to connect.
I have done some reading of various similar topics (thank you everyone for sharing the info in your journeys) and concluded to power the sub via a piggyback fuse in the boot's fuse panel but I need some advice regarding audio connection. The sub does support 'speaker input' so I'll be tapping into the speaker wires but this is where I need your advice.

Option 1
To tap into head unit rear speakers output (the ones that go into Saab's amp)

Option 2
To tap into front speakers output from the Saab's amp (reading your posts I understand only the front speakers are getting the lower frequencies)

Thank you all in advance for your help.
