My Satnav is giving me intermittent faults by telling me it has no GPS signal. As a result I cannot set the clock anymore. And of course have no GPS signal.

I removed the unit from the dash and like to know which cable is the one that goes to the shark fin. In the left hand bottom corner (as you pull the unit out) I see a single black cable a bit like a thin coaxial (I think) is this the cable? Or which one is it?

If so is there a way to see if it has a signal from the shark fin?

Are there other ways to test if the connection from the Unit to the shark fin is working? I know they can measure it with some gadget in the Garage, but I am 60 miles from a Saab dealer and my local nice Garage say the do not have the Saab software to do so.

The future ain’t what it used to be.
