Hello all!

In my 2010 93 i installed a Kenwood Nav unit that is capable of DAB but never really bothered sorting an aerial etc until now.

I am now wanting to try and sort it but my issue is i don't want an additional aerial or windows sticky one, i'd rather have a converter from the existing fin setup and one that can be hid away.

Any suggestions i would appreciate!

Cheers! :D

I too have been thinking along the same lines.

You can't run one from the original whip aerial as this has a built in amplifier.

I was thinking of changing my shark fin aerial for a dab one since I don't use that for the phone or gps anymore (I have an aftermarket sat-nav that has a seperate gps aerial under the dash.

I put a DAB aerial in place of the sharkfin on the roof. The sharkfin is not used for anything if you don't have the factory satnav.

The question is does it still retain the OEM look? Plus how easy was it to fit?

Depends what you buy. Fitting it is one 22mm nut and a bit of trim removal. Nothing desperately hard or time consuming.

S19 has got a whole new aerial set up. DAB/fm powered via the old side window feed. Her days are numbered, dunno if the DAB will fit an ovlov....

The whole aerial stuff cost me around £39, cover this and I will remove it for you.
