i've got the 6 disc indash changer and i've got the bluetooth in the car as well

i realise the steering wheel controls will take a bit of finaggling t get to work again, but what about the bluetooth?

will it still do the handsfree or will i lose that function if i change the headunit?

i'm looking to maybe put a double din headunit in, poss with some DAB and maybe even a small amp and sub combo

i should mention i have the factory 7 speaker system

Most new head units have their own bluetooth. You should pair with the new head unit.

The UHP Saab bluetooth box connects to the Saab head unit.

bugger, i like the saab one as it runs of the steering wheel and so far been the best handsfree i've ever used

oh well i'll have to look for a sub/amp combo that will work with the standard stuff

I have a Pioneer AVIC stereo fitted to mine. It has it's own Bluetooth but the original Bluetooth in the car still works independently too but I don't use it.

The steering wheel controls work with the stereo with the appropriate interface box.

As for the amp you will just have to make sure pre-amp output is fed to the speaker connections on the back and you may need an amp interface due the difference in inputs.
