Ok have had my new to me, 2007 convertible 9-3, for a few weeks now.
Is it possible to fit rear/reversing camera to the existing reversing sensors.

Not OEM, but cameras that replace one of the numberplate lights are available and work when used with an aftermarket radio head unit.

I can't find the info at the moment, but someone has managed to add a camera to the 9-3 Saab OE satnav 2007-2011

Wow!

I'd also be more than interested in that, if you can find it. :corn: :corn: :corn:

Me too Will, been looking at upgrading the AV unit (even if i haven't got the car yet!).

Wondered where the reversing camera would be mounted so it is hidden if I go that route.

There are some rear licence plates holders that are designed to take a camera.

But, did you find the reference to inputting the video to the 2007 sat nav?

I've searched and couldn't find anything.

There was some sort of link on SaabPlanet, but it’s not working correctly on my phone.

https://www.saabplanet.com/aftermarket- ... ra-system/

The info I saw was on Facebook, but I didn’t follow it up at the time.

Thanks, I found it.

Disappointingly, although the first picture is of the Delphi/Grundig OE satnav showing a reversing camera image, the only links that I can find are a video which is for a 2002-2006 vehicle that seems to show an aftermarket radio.

I know that the Delphi/Grundig OE satnav is a common GM radio, but presumably it has different input options for different markets.

EDIT:

Found the video from that article on YT:

Aha!

I found it.

It appears to be an add-on interface by 'NAV-Tool'
