Dyno Day now booked with Got Boost in Bridgend for Saturday 5th March

http://www.gotboost.co.uk

9am start

Minimum of 5 cars, maximum 30.

5-10 vehicles - £40 each
10-20 vehicles £35 each
20-30 vehicles £30 each

Measure AFR and Boost and display this on a printout, with wheel power & torque, also printout estimated flywheel figures.

If you'd like to log your run via the obd2 port for your tuner/mapping guru to check that's fine as they don't use this for the runs.

2wd only but fine for both fwd & rwd if you want to bring something different along to your Saabs? Just need to know what car and fwd or rwd & time you'll arrive so I can try and put the fwd/rwd cars into groups to save time.

There's a deposit required for the day so would need a £20 deposit from each car to secure their place (non refundable) sorry about that but we've had dyno days in the past with people dropping out or just not bothering to turn up.

Theres a few from members from PH looking to come aswel (got a few interested so should be a good day with a few interesting cars on the rollers) :)

If you're 100% set on going can you PM me please and I'll send you the PayPal for the deposit (remainder to be collected on the day)

You're a good man for sorting this Dai. Bit too far for me but I'm hoping my Bro in law can get my V6T on a dyno at his college in May.

Ah no worries.

I'm hoping to get a stock v6 to come along to give us a baseline figure (should have done this with mine really before modding it) :wall:

Expecting to come in a little lower than expected but not the end of the world.

Couldn't even volunteer mine as I've bought a jzw iflash off Martin and just waiting on the NGK plugs from the US.

Be done early Feb.

After what johns said I'd try and get it dyno'd while its standard to get a baseline figure then again when it's mapped (same dyno) probably more useful if your looking at future mods though so you know what it's putting out. I'll still be a little in the dark here vs the USA 19t/20T stage 5 lot.

JZW Stage 1 will defo feel much quicker though, surprised the hell out of me anyway!!! Just don't floor it too early in 4th+ gears though as the clutch might slip :wall:

I'd do the coils same time as the plugs mate to save messing later on (well the rear bank anyway as its a faff to change these, fronts are easy) RockAuto seem the cheapest for genuine Bosch 112 coils ;) ...and then keep a couple handy in the glove box just in case one pops!!

Can't see me putting mine on the rollers as nothing has changed since it was last run at powerstation. The body work needs the money so performance improvements are all on hold.

I might come along to watch if I can get the day off.

Really interested in seeing what mine is putting out as it was sold to me as having 300bhp Abbott upgrades but lots of people have thrown doubt on it

Ah no worries Kyle, will be good to catch up down there though. If I pull my finger out next month I might have the audio side working then you can have a play with the P99RS ;)

Stick a post up in the performance forum with the mods fitted, sure one of the 9-5 gurus will be able to help :)

It's not the power I'd worry about its the A/F ratio.

Well let's see what my T5'd C900 is running :)

Plan is to get a 3" down pipe and full SS system built before then :-)

I'm 99% up for it, I'm just hesitant about running an autobox on the rollers - does it work all right i.e working out the transmission losses etc... and getting an estimated flywheel value?

Would be interesting to see/compare the 300bhp Hirsch and my 'pretender'.

I'll ask them mate, should be ok though, we've had a few autos dyno'd before.

I told my mate at work who has just bought a Honda and proudly told me it has "200 bhp" and he wants to come along as well.

Is he on Pistonheads? If he registers there and emails me I'll give him the PayPal details then add him to the list, all the infos also on there in he South Wales forum.

We've got a few interested but waiting until closer to the date to commit. Should be a decent turn out :)
