A few regulars are hitting the GP circuit at Bedford. It's run through javelin £139 open pit lane.
I'm going to be running my 9-3 aero as I im still waiting for a replacement tubular manifold to turn up for my 9000. Still, I'm sure it'll be an enjoyable day....but I want some rides in 'fast' cars please! 8)

I will be there, long way to come to test new set up but looking forward to returning to Bedford.

Fingers crossed it will be as reliable as old set up.

Mark you will most certainly get a passenger ride you can even take it out if you want.

Stu, hope you and Blair work through any gremlins. New turbos do that for you.

An an up and coming shoulder op will rule me out of action for 4-6 weeks......

Hey Mark,
Where have you been hiding? Have you been tinkering with the car? . I am sure we will catch up sometime this year. This is very much just a gentle outing to try new set up :D

Might....and I say might be down in the 9000. My new sas manifold hasn't turned up so bought discs, yellow stuff pads, HEL brake hoses for the 9-3.....however my daughter and her partner turned up yesterday and on hearing my dilemma got his angle grinder out of the boot of the car and cut my broken manifold in two and then fired up my tig set and did a excellent weld repair (coded welder by trade) :-) So it's all going back together at the moment, got to cut and re weld my wastegate downpipe and then fit the whole can of worms back onto the block.
Watch this space.....

I guess it's the place where you are least likely to trash your exotic!

I will be eating a curry in Hyderabad instead :(

Stu - how is the snow looking?? Sent another map for further wheelspin tests!

Manifold now fitted to the car, didn't fit at first, a large crack that was also found was welded caused no. 4 header to move 6mm! Wedges and larger holes got it to fit and a WOT run once its on the road will stress relieve it...I hope ;-) anyway its just got to last this trackday.

This was where the cut was made to access the inner part of the collector that had fallen off...

Only radiator hose to fit now, get tyres fitted onto spare rims and new rear brake hoses...don't fancy no brakes again after the rear one popped at Aintree...

Just above the weld at the top hose outlet looks like a small crack I have used some liquid metal tonight, will let it set and try it tomorrow afternoon ..... Glad to see your 9000 is ready :D

Will try source pads for turbo x tomorrow just in case.... Either way I will be there for sure ........

My rad is still leaking from the same place as the one I sent you but as it's not pressurised I've just left it. Is it near the repair weld?

It appears to be just above the weld, I put some liquid metal on last night, will test it today when I get home

No time to buy some flush and Evans waterless then Stu?

I quite fancy the idea of running pressure free!

Good luck whichever car you take.
Hoping your 9k makes it though......

I will expect lots of laughter and pointing of fingers caught on camera, then muttering and nods of heads also caught on camera! :D

It seems to have stopped the leak, had it up to temp and out for a short test drive. Will take it for a longer drive this evening.

Kev plan was to use Evans as usual I have run out of time :wall: one day I shall be organised......

Just read info for track day, no suction mounted cameras that's all I have ever used....
