Anyways exhaust wise I wasn't too sure to begin with but now I love it :) Karl had some issues when mapping as it seems ny car is a real odd ball one.... new lambda sensor that got fitted or bodged needs to be replaced as sometimes it reads 0 on the open sid.... then others it doesn't.... performance wise what a transformation... Karl was impressed with the exhaust popping and burbleing and said it wont need the fuel cut off tweaking as it'll be mental then lol
got to karls at 3 and left at just after 7....
thanks to Karl and sorry for messing your evening plans up, and mij for the exhaust.... oh and Albert 666 too whose quality workmanship on the Decat was commented on by mij on how good it was.

Overall i'm very happy with it, bar the lambda issue.... will get one hopefully tomorrow through work and fit tomorrow after work. Cel light went out just but then came back on again when the lambda reading dropped to 0.....
Checking the sid - it was showing i was requesting 1170 but only meeting 1070 so need to run this tank of tesco 99 out and get some V power through it along with injector cleaner me thinks....
Will also order some new plugs tomorrow then do a full service and report back my findings afterwards.

As said, the car is a little bit boomy at times, but sounds real throaty when under WOT. Then in 2nd when dropping down the revs on over-run it burbles and pops like a good un! i find my self chuckling at the sound lol
Not got any from the back at distance.... but i will get some once i've cleaned the car fully.... plus get some video's :D

I must say it looks pretty enough but looks like the bends are crush-bent rather than mandrell , no biggy really execept you'll lose the inside diameter slightly on each bend .

Whats it like at motorway speeds Spanny ?? any resonance or drone ?

Tiny bit of drone.... depends how your foot is pressed on the pedal ;) it can be quite quiet with a bit of a drone.... but when the loud pedal is pressed, yeah its pretty loud.... the back box has no sound deadening in there.... why they don't just put a straight piece of pipe there i don't know.
Yeah looks like they have just been bent into position... Ah well, at least the front section is good :D
This is supposed to be the mid sports sound....... i'd imagine with a cat on it may be a bit quieter though.... will see if i just get a cat chopped in there at some point. Depends if i cba to change it all over come MOT time

Also got a new Lambda sensor today so once the engine's cooled down ill attempt to go swap that over.... £38+Vat for one with a plug on it rather than one you need to splice into the existing loom like the one i had fitted on saturday was.....

Ahh, of course, they spliced it. Didn't consider that. I've always insisted on having full leads/plugs on them due to the heat. I'd lay odds that's the problem particularly seeing as they'd spliced it right next to the manifold and then used electrical tape to insulate it. As you saw on my video, them 'zorsts get quite warm.

Let me know how you get on. Need to be sure she's getting full air.

The fuelling map should be fairly close, that's part of the idea of it, but if it's generally lean or generally rich there's no way for the ECU to know or adapt. Under normal conditions with everything working as it should you'll only be +/- 2-3% which is well within safe limits.
It's if there's anything wrong the ECU has no way of knowing or correcting for it.
