After having done a lot of research into this model, I can confirm that this model is NOT a Mardave model, it is a Cambria model. Photo below is of the original box!!

Have decided to paint the car to replicate my 900 T16S. Just need to sort the lights and trim out.

Looking for an air con kit for my 99. Can anybody give me any ideas where I could look for one or does anybody have one for sale?

Thanks Adam

That's the only luxury item I'd really appreciate on my 99.... particularly with the weather we've had recently.

Genuine air con is LHD only. Someone somewhere will have fitted it to RHD though!

Hi, Looking to fit 4 spot lamps to the front of my 99. Does anybody have any bracket dimensions or brackets to suit? I am looking for the 2 up 2 down set up as per the rally set up.

Thanks Adam

Finally got my stripe kit fitted to the 99 on Friday and got my spot lamps mounted too. Still a few more decals to be fitted over the stripes yet once I have finalized designs and had them made and fitted. Here is a quick pic taken today of how it is coming along now. I can almost say the outside of the car is finished (but only almost) there will always be something I would like to change or add.

Also changed the design of my model car too!!! :)

Thanks :)

I'm having some SAAB decals made to put on the stripe on the bonnet and also on the rear wing just above the chrome surround. Just need to decide what I want to have!! Decisions decisions!!

Also can't decide whether I prefer black vent surrounds or chrome. What do people think? Black over silver stripes or chrome over silver stripes?

Adam

I would leave them chrome to match the window surrounds.

I do agree there. Tempted to look for a pair of turbo door mirrors (chrome based) as well.

GLE ones look better (IMHO) if you can find a pair.

Door mirrors will be a later addition anyway so I have plenty of time to look and decide. They will come after the engine tune and the twin webers being mounted!! :)

I ended up fitting a pair of GLE mirrors to my 99T, never been a fan of the standard mirrors.

Dare I say it a pair of bullets would probably look quite good on your 99.

I don't think I will be fitting bullet mirrors to it. I'm happy with the standard mirrors for now but I will be looking for either turbo or GLE mirrors, Dad has just told me he may have a pair of turbo mirrors up the attic :)

Cheers Redsaabs, the car is really starting to come together now, just wish it would stop raining so I can get it washed, polished and detailed for some decent photos.

The 4 spots did have covers on them before some w****r nicked them in a car park!!

On second thoughts bullets are probably not the way to go with this one.
