Nice if you can get a fuelling check on that sooner than later.... Little variations in pumps, FPRs etc etc can add up to quite a lot on these setups...

Make sure you really do get a graph of fuel and boost against rpm or we'll be in the dark.

Really good if you can find out if it's knocking at all - without a knock light you will not really know. A good dyno chap should be listening out for any though. Some fresh BCR8ES plugs will help to avoid.

What kind of dyno is it? / name of company?

Just to keep folks posted (out of interest!) - we are going to tweak the map a bit just based on the dyno.

I_fak - pull values down just before overshoot. rescaled a bit too
Reg_kon_mat - dropped values just before overshoot. Rescaled up to 6800rpm
Boost map: Matches boost map to 'real boost' during spool up
Fuel: increased fuel in main and knock maps by a few % - Looks a bit lean on dyno but I'm sceptical
Igntion: Untouched - we can't tell anything from dyno really
Idle: going to lean off the idle map a touch and see if improved. Hard without car here.
Knock: Allowed it to retard more ignition before it tries to reduce boost

The big question is why is boost fading hard after 5700.... only a road tune will reveal.

In terms of the overshoot - it's just not something you'd really get on the road unless you do a long pull from 2k rpm in 4th all the time....

Does the boost drop that much on the road top end? I know it is hard to tell/look when the car is slinging itself down the road. Like phil said the only way is to tune it on the road and it may not even be as lean on the road.

Mine is still trying to achieve max boost at 5700

Its hard to tell due to trying to hold the car on the road & stop it changing lanes on its own  but will try it when/if we get some dry weather

Well have made a start on the front bumper mods - real carbon fibre (non of this sticker lark) ducting to the intercooler & an SE lip spoiler added & what a PITA that was :wall: have fixed with fibreglass paste at the momoent as well as bolted on - want it blended in smoothly before the bumper is resprayed.

Have fitted a mesh grille to the car now - pic to follow.

And we have fitted an FSE power boost valve (uprated fuel regulator) and what a royal pain in the a :cen: e that was!!
You JUST about get enough fuel hose in the kit to mount the valve in the centre of the engine - mines mounted on the throttle body - fuel lines wise you have to disconect the original return line - cut and join this to the return side from the new valve. But also what it doesn't mention in the useless instructions is that you still have to blank off the end of the fuel rail :wall: only a fuel spillage showed that up :argh: Disconnecting the o.e quick release fuel fittings isn't an easy task either.
