You know my feelings with regards 900 restorations. No need to say it really... but well done. Good job. Hope you either enjoy it throuroughly for yourself or sell it for what it's worth (i.e. a nice wedge) and let someone else enjoy it. Well done!

My own convertible restoration will be the same colour, but rather than keeping it 100% original spec as this one is, mine will be a flat front conversion, twin vent bonnet, flat front aero kit, 16" aeros, 9000 Aero seats, and some other subtle modifications. My own car can stray from originality as it is being built for me and me only.

Thanks for the kind words from everyone, I'll keep this thread updated as the build progresses.

Dan.

A Monte Carlo should be original though. They look really good like that. Nice shining grill against bright yellow bodywork with a black hood and grey bodykit. They even look pretty good with standard 15" wheels.

I'd put clear indicators on though!

Hmm, depends on if you want it to look good or not! Some colours are good with clear indicators and others are better with standard orange indicators. Clear = Red, Yellow, Silver, Grey, Green, Blue. Orange = Black, White, Beige...

Don't know if you mean 'He' or 'Who' doesn't like Glossy yellow. As far as I can tell Saabotage likes Gold and Johnno likes Yellow... both in a big way.

ALL c900s look good, one of those rare totally timeless and classless cars.
Look just as good covered in dents and mud in the country lane as gleeming outside a posh doctors house.

It's based on a 900. A bit like the way the 900 was based on the 99.

umm, yum yum... looking yolkey.... what's that mark in the middle of the boot lid at the top?

Are you getting a grey aero kit painted for this as well?

Think a genuine monty would have the later 5-piece spoiler as well, will it be getting one of those?

Well done, good job.
