You have bought me enough and you know it!

I did a deal with a guy on ebay, made a best offer way below asking price and we met in the middle. It was more than I had bid on one a few months ago but I just stupidly bid too low then. I (and everyone else) need one now but no matter.

I'm taking Edith to France for a day trip in the vert in August and their child seat rules say something like "children under 10 in the back seat, unless they are unavailable". Depends what website you read, some say that "children must use a car seat in the front seats until they are 10" . Either way, with a wind deflector over the back seat it'll be unavailable and she will be in her car seat up front!

New control arms fitted at Ade's in November (I think).

I've finally fixed the odd problem that cropped up on the way home! The brake fluid warning lamp was coming on seemingly at random. A few weeks ago I realised that this was due to the heated seats or heated rear window being turned on.

I hate electrical problems. I understand them better but I hate searching for broken wires.

Today it was fixed after going all through the earth points, relays etc. It turned out that it was the 20A fuse for the heated seats. Note to self: check ALL fuses before heading under the dash to the relays and earth points. Even the unlikely ones.

Really pleased that it's fixed though!

The car got some heavy use for two weeks in January so it's been off the road since (hit the insurance mileage limit). Today, in preparation for some more use I ran it up to temperature, moved it around a bit and washed it. A service will be happening very soon once I can find a clear day to do it.

Started first time after a month of standing. Not bad!

Well, since the last post the vert had an oil+filter change and I've used her for a few meets and local trips.

Sadly, it's time to say goodbye to the car soon though. Ade would like her back and I'm a man of my word so he will have her back before too long! I'm sad but it was always the plan that I'd simply take care of the car for a time.

She's ready to go to a new home with a familiar owner:

Looks can be deceiving...

It's not quite a Viggen, it is faster than one though!

It started as a 2.0 SE. Ade Wilkins spent considerable time making into a 305-315bhp 2.3 monster. Stage 5 hardware and Stage 5 Noobtune to match. All running through an auto box.

Madness!

Yours looks nice, Viggens are lovely cars. :)
