Little tip for the Recaro Young Sport , cable tie the top handle to the head rest posts , it really firms up the top of the seat .

Cheers for that Gaz, although the headrest does slip over the top and it feels solid like that.

Well Thursday the Starter Motor finally had enough and became lazy which wouldn't start the car. Removed last night to try and clean it but there was movement in the shaft. This morning fitted a replacement £65 and she's back to her best!

Thanks Keeny.

She does get no expence spared! The beauty of learning from my Dad who a Mechanic, so free labour means I don't have to choke at the price of some parts and labour on top!

Well last week, she started to go into limp home mode unless you drove her like you 'stole it'. Had a quick look on OP-COM got a boost pressure sensor short circuit code. Had a look at pipes etc and couldn't see anything, left it as had no time and just lived with it in the mean time.

Fast forward 5 days had a call from the other half, it developed a strange wine and it stunk. Gets home from work and find the alternator had died. Got a new one this morning from the local factors, fitted and she's good as new again. Hopefully, shes sorted for a while aprart from a service!

Well today was MOT day, and it's first fail after 8 years of Passing....

Failed on the front springs, can't say i'm shocked but at the same time kicking myself i didn't check them before hand! Hoping the weather holds early doors next week to get them changed on the drive!
