Seeing the car without a boot spoiler has helped me decide on the boot spoiler option, I’m not going to fit one, I really like the lines without it.

The rubber Wedge and the Bridge spoiler can stay on the shelf.

Is she getting the flat front treatment?

Certainly is Mal, I’m hoping that I’ve got all of the bits to do it. I’ve got the lights, bumpers and grille but I’m bound to be short of trim. The ones that spring to mind are the rubber strips that fit between the bumper and body along the top of the bumpers, or am I confusing myself with 99 stuff? I’m sure I’ll find out soon enough.
Are the headlamp wipers the same an the slope front?

Can’t wait to start it, I’m retiring in April, so will have the time to crack on with it.

This grille isn’t too shabby, it’s cleaned up well and I’ve added a turbo badge from a different grille.

I’ll post regular updates over the coming weeks in between EBay listings and housework :-)

I had the pleasure of seeing it in the flesh yesterday. The paint finish is as good as it looks at 20ft (or the photos) when you're inches away :envy: . This is going to look the absolute Dogs!!!

If Julian doesn't keep us updated with progress pictures, I'll head over there again and give him what for! (As he did agree to provide more updates during the coming recommissioning period of works)

Cheers Andy, It was good to see you yesterday. As promised I’ll keep the photos and regular updates coming.

I’ve been sorting the front grille and the leather seats out today. The rear seats cleaned up nicely although there were some really stubborn stains to remove, luckily the marks have gone now. The drivers seat is away at the trimmers but I did have some small nicks to attend to on the rears and they’re looking good.

More to follow.....

Limited progress today because I had some family time out with my daughters.

I cleaned and polished the rear leather seat. I took some before and after photos, they’re transformed from their former dirty and dusty faded look when I got them.

I’m missing a screw from the armrest mechanism, if anyone has a spare one I’d be really appreciated.

Small progress today, but it’s progress nonetheless.

In keeping with my clean lines objective, these are the minimalist boot decals.

In-keeping but not original.

The only turbo badge on the car is on the front grille.

I’ll be blacking the twin pipes too in an effort to make them more inconspicuous.

Thanks, they’re not too bad.

Chipping away sorting the small jobs, bumper mounts etc. I must fit the rear exhaust section tomorrow.

The decals on the boot are too low. I used the 25mm / 20mm guide for the hatch by mistake, Doh!

Good job I’ve got spare sets :-)
