Blue Leather interior is on the cards. I've not seen it yet but hopefully it will clean up well and smarten the interior. 8-)

My Wife had this abbreviated canvas done for me by the graphics bloke where she works to cheer me up after the car was stolen in August.

I love it but now need to find a wall to hang it.

"You canPut it up the stairs" she said, I don't think so, lounge feature wall maybe, before she gets home from work ;-)

Ian Jemison (Jemison Engineering) called to tell me that the Minilites have been powder coated and are ready for collection.
I saw the repair he carried out on the damaged wheel, it's a brilliant job, you would never know.

Nice canvas, nice of the missus to do it too. Good news on the wheels. I look forward to the day it rolls again.

Thanks, it looks great now it's up on the wall.

I can't wait to get behind the wheel again, I really miss driving it.

It will be a better car with a top notch security system and a premium wheel clamp.

Glad it's all going to plan Julian, looking forward to hearing you're back on the road soon.

Thanks, getting there slowly. My work schedule is heavy up until Christmas which is good in many respects but doesn't allow me to push on with the car.

I cant wait to get her back out on the road again.

Or a hidden switch to the fuel pump via a relay....

Been following this and was saddened to read it had disappeared being the nice word but glad you're getting back into it and I hope you appreciate what a thoughtful wife you have!

Thanks for that, she's not bad, I've had worse ;-)

The latest is that I have located a bonnet and other panels to press on with the car, what I don't have at the moment is the time due to covering Holidays /absence at work until the New Year.

The car is being pulled about on Monday at a local body shop in an effort to realign the "A" post and assess any other bodywork issues. I will post an update next week, hopefully a positive one.

Off to watch the Wales WRC this weekend, it should be fun.

You can't tell from the photos but they are covered in a layer of dust too. I can't wait to give them a wash.
They do look as good if not better than new.

The wheel was cracked at the rim about an inch and it axtended at right angles about 3-4" around the rim of the wheel.
He doesn't use filler, only new metal. He is a real craftsman.

More good news.
Brand new front wing sourced from SAABits and a good replacement bonnet sourced from a UKS member.
Thanks.

Happy days :-)
