They don't look right...

They remind me of 9000 anniversary wheels.

I'd seen them before browsing eBay but not paid much attention because of how they were described. Which reminds me, time for a thread.

I informed the seller on eBay that they were from a 9000. He got back to me with the information that they are 15 inch dia, and were off a 1991 900 convertible. So they could be ok.

That style of wheel was offered on the 900 too. I don't know if they were different widths between 900 and 9000.
The 9000 wheels were 15".

They will fit ok but they are just not the same and don't have the appeal as the Ronal "minilite" style wheel. I will hold out for a matching wheel.

Thanks anyway though.

Some good news for a change. I received a call from Ian Jemison this morning, amazingly has managed to save the damaged front wheel. How he has managed to save it is incredible.

So now all I need now is a centre cap :-)

He's a magician.

The Wolf is not entirely out of the woods yet, so to speak. The wing and bonnet are relatively simple jobs and It all depends on the extent and type of damage to the "A" pillar. This is yet to be decided by a Saab structural expert based in Yorkshire in the coming days / weeks.

Fingers crossed......again.

I'm sure nothing that a Very Big Hammer won't fix (I hope!)
Many years ago I was given 5 year old Rover 820 that had been written off due to a heavy impact in the drivers side door and A Post.
With a little bit of careful pulling on a body alignment jig the car was straightened up and drove like new. I think back then it cost me about 200 quid to have it done, that and the price a second had door got me a very cheap car.
